As usual, TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) and robustness of Windows, can not help in ATM Machine. I have captured few Screenshots of Windows throughing error messages and Malware warning message. Can you imagine , an Malware warning message on an ATM machine that is exposed to public, and how a Virus can mess up things. from my humble point of view, MS-Windows can not deliver the level of security or robustness that an ATM machine and banking in general may need Screenshots say it all!!!! I just have finished generating Garmin Routable Maps for Egypt. It contains the latest streets and roads in Egypt using Google Street maps and others to generate this map file. Now we have a routable map (map that supports routing) for Egyptian streets and roads. I have found around 2200 POIs (Point of Interest) in Egypt and I converted them to Garmin format. I'm testing this map file since two days so far over many streets and I'm satisfied with it.
