iPaper
Since the trend that everything starts with "i" these days. Please let me introduce to you what I think is a PDF killer, which is called Ipaper.
I still do not know , how friendly it is for Search Engine, or Does it support any kind of access right or encryption, I still have no clue.
But I do not expect so, as it uses Adobe Flash to have the whole thing.

The final Question I have here, will they release Open Source version, will the community make something similar or may be Google.

That is based on what is called Scribd Platform . The Scribd Platform is a broad set of tools and services designed to help you customize, integrate, deploy, and monetize fully-formatted documents on your website without extra software. The platform's components - the Scribd API, the iPaper JavaScript API, and QuickSwitch - vary greatly in their complexity and specific features, so be sure to review the online documentation so that you can determine which one is best for you. Our platform's most visible element is iPaper - a fast, light, embeddable document viewer.
The thing that raises my concerns is that your document are hosted at Scribd hosting facilities which in turn is hosted on Simple Storage Service (S3) from Amazon.com !!
Is that a push from Amazon to Kindly (Kindly is an ebook device released by Amazon earlier this year. We spoke about it before on geek2live link is h3r3
