Google Lively , is it Second Second Life ?

I have been through Google Lively, I'm under the impression that it is a simpler Second Life.
I'm still exploring there, You need to download kind of Browser plugin (it works for Firefox on Windows, I will try if there a plug for Linux later when I go home )
